Ice Cream Man's here and I got interviewed!
I was interviewed by CNN reporter Joe Johns for Anderson Cooper's show tonight at 700 Pacific. I think I sucked but what the hell, them Lizards of Satan sure got me some net love. I don't have a TV so I won't watch it but if anyone does please don't tell me how much I sucked.
Addendum: My kids watched it and told me I didn't suck and ... and ... AND they told me the reporter READ MOST OF THE BLOG POST ON TV TO MILLIONS AROUND THE WORLD while showing the whole entry. I've reached blogging nirvana. How cool is that shit?

You were pretty awesome. They used a few lines and painted you in a good light.
I'm happy I discovered your blog; I really like it.

You did very well Bob. A couple of quotes with face time as well as a strikingly great shot of the blog itself. Props to Bob.

Totally awesome!!! You rule Bob :)

Awesome, didn't suck at all!
The vidcam quality, lighting & sounds was just fine; not at all like FIXED news.
Not having a TV makes you a fringe minority, you realize that of course.
I still don't forgive Cooper for "The Mole" and how bad the first season sucked; but hey, the guy needed the money.
"Lizards of Satan!" Love it.

So, when the hell does AC repeat, and does CNN stream it?
Posted by: green libertarian | September 09, 2008 at 09:42 PM
Very cool. Reminds me of the time I was on the Homeschool Cable Network demonstrating our favorite squirrel stew recipe.
We don't have cable, so I'm hoping someone out there knows how to transfer video from their DVR to their computer.

GL, AC 360 is on right now and the piece will be coming on shortly.
Posted by: mik | September 09, 2008 at 10:35 PM
CNN wanted me to download some freaking Turner Media thing to watch live, I guess.
Not gonna happen, ever.
Get the vid up on the tubes, bob, soon.

Green Libertarian chill out man, sheesh.
"On November 23, 1911, Spokane's third Monroe Street Bridge opens. Considered a marvel of beauty and functionality, it is the largest concrete-arch bridge in the United States."
When it reopened in 2005, did you like the upgrades and improvements? Did they put all of that ornamental crap back on?
I'll search YouTube; but it's usually a day or two until a AC360 vid shows up.

I am floored that his made it all the way to CNN.
You have truely exposed how gullible society is.
You did good - Tubob. When is Saturday Night Live or any sitcom going to hire you as one of their writers?

How about that "LIPSTICK ON A PIG" O-quote??????

Where the "Lipstick on a Pig" comment started -- Hullo Bush OutHouse!
=====================================================================
Actually, the expression is "Putting Lipstick on a Bulldog" in the UK...
uhm, I wonder why none of the "media" is picking up where this expression (recently) came from:
